Policy Brief No. 1: The Financial Security of Older Women in Southeast Asia
This policy brief highlights the importance of recognising the gender dimensions of ageing, and the need to adopt a life-course perspective to policy interventions for older women. The brief shows that women's financial security is the outcome of cumulative disadvantages throughout the life-course, and outlines some key policy recommendations to improve the financial security of older women.
